Kate Wilhelm is an executive coach with The Leets Consortium, based in Orange County.

Kate is a forward thinking leader with 20 years of national and global human resources and talent management experience in both management consulting and internal roles. She has led teams and provided coaching in multiple industries including financial services, retail and health care. Kate uniquely combines intuition, perspective, intelligence and passion for people to improve organizational alignment, engagement and performance.

Kate is a successful change agent successful with incorporating process, technology, and organizational culture to define strategies and align people to execute business initiatives. She leverages an understanding of the business culture and strategy to develop leadership and workforce solutions that consistently leads to desired outcomes. She has a track record of designing and delivering unique solutions - from the boardroom to mid-level managers to frontline teams, in order to transform culture and produce results.

Prior to working with TLC, she was a management consultant for a decade with Accenture - based in New York City and San Francisco. In addition to project management, sales and career mentoring, she led the women’s leadership group and the Talent Management division for the West Coast. Desiring to bring corporate and Fortune 100 experience to under-exposed industries, she transitioned to an internal role in health care at St. Joseph Health. She was Vice President of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness at the System Office located in Irvine, CA. During her four years at SJH, she improved revenue through more narrow networks, developed and implemented an in-placement program and retrofitted performance management. Kate expanded her career at UC San Diego Health starting in 2014 where she built and led a new Talent & Organization Development team. In this executive position, she was responsible for and delivered several organization wide initiatives. She received top tier engagement scores and the highest employee: manager relationship rating – the only department in Human Resources.

She has worked for a broad-base of clients including: GE Capital, Merrill Lynch, PG&E, AAA, Washington Mutual, Chase, Farmers Insurance, Fireman’s Fund, Best Buy, Eskom, RC Solar, St Joseph Health, UC San Diego, Wachovia, Fifth 3rd, Wells Fargo and Capital Group.

Kate holds a B.A. in Business and Economics with minors in Psychology and Communications from Wheaton College, IL. She has held positions and participated on boards including THINK (Teaching, Helping, Inspiring & Nurturing Kids) Together, The Laurel School. She has certification in leadership coaching, is a member of Society for Human Resources Management and has speaking engagements including CHA Assembly, NHRA, and other HR seminars.
