Peter is an executive coach with The Leets Consortium, a global corporate coaching firm.
Peter has broad global experience as a board director and as a CEO in public and private companies, ranging from market entries to multi-billion dollar enterprises. At both board and executive level, he leverages his multi-industry experience in consumer products and consumer services to provide strategic leadership and coaching, drawing on his distinctive ability to translate and transfer perspectives across industries.
Peter has an international track record of leading and building high growth and turnaround businesses in the US and markets around the world, delivering bold changes in strategy, structure and culture to transform those businesses. His successful operating and board leadership experience stretches from education in the US, to consumer goods in Europe and North America, to the hospitality sector in Europe, South Pacific and the US, and to product sourcing from Asia for US and European companies.
Until 2010, he was a Board Director at publicly-traded Corinthian Colleges Inc., where he was also CEO after a period as President and COO. For twelve years, Peter was a Board Director of Websense, a large global Nasdaq listed security software company, leading up to its successful sale to a private equity firm. His Websense tenure included board oversight for two acquisitions. He was a Board Director and CEO of ThreeSixty Sourcing, a private equity owned company that sources product from Asia to US companies.
From 1990-2000, Peter had a successful ten year global career in Europe, South Pacific and the US with PepsiCo's restaurant business, which was spun off in his last three years to create Yum. For the final three years, Peter was President of Taco Bell, a $5 billion, 7,000 restaurant business, where he successfully reversed the business trends and financially reengineered the company. Prior to PepsiCo, following a start to his career at Procter and Gamble in England, he worked in global business management with Braun, a Gillette subsidiary, in Germany and Canada before successfully starting up Braun in the US.
Peter was an active board member of St Margaret's Episcopal School, leading a successful major development campaign and he is Chair of the Southern California Chapter of the Young Presidents' Organization/World Presidents' Organization.
Peter received his Master's degree from Oxford University.
